A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital after a physical altercation outside a restaurant along Serangoon Road on Friday (Oct 16).

Stomper Honey said his friend's son had been eating at Usman's Restaurant at around 12.20am when he noticed a fight outside.

Honey said: "A few men were beating up a guy and police were called."

In a video that Honey shared, several men are seen in a tussle. A man in a short-sleeved white shirt can be seen punching another guy multiple times while others tried to stop him.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a case of voluntarily causing hurt at 238 Serangoon Road at 12.22am.

"A 41-year-old man was conscious when conveyed to Singapore General Hospital," they added.

"The parties involved were advised on their legal recourse."
